Trim Your Wick
Trim your candle wick to 5mm before each burn, this will help prevent long and tall flame, flickering and soot forming around the glass.
This keeps your candle clean, neat and unpolluted.
The First Burn
Make sure your candle has achieved a wax melt pool to the edge of the jar.
This will help with the scent throw, will prevent tunnelling and will promise an even burn. To prevent future tunnelling, continue letting the candle burn around the entire surface before putting out.
How Long To Burn
Avoid burning your candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Burning a candle for longer than 4 hours can damage the wick and almost make the jar extremely hot, making it potentially hazardous.
Caring For The Wick
Avoid blowing the candle out as this produces smoke. Instead, try dipping the wick in melted wax *, proceed by straightening out the wick again. This prevents smoke and keeps the fragrance in your candle unharmed.
*you can use a wick dipper or snuffer for this
